I had a sudden sweat running down from my dreadlocks when I received an email from the blogger team about an artists claiming copyright ownership of the song ''Blame It On The Money'', which most of us know was done by DBanj featuring Big Sean and Snoop Lion. At first, I could not think straight and all I had to do was to delete that post immediately to avoid any further troubles.
Then I alerted all my fellow bloggers about the email i received so they know what to do as well... I munched part of the email and sent to them to have a view of the contents in the email... Then I said to my self ''Really? For all the websites that posted this same music, Loud Sound Ghana is the only website attacked on this?''
I got curious and went back to the email to read all over again and investigate if other websites or blogs were notified about this and probably made a post concerning the same issue. What baffled my mind most was the ''REPRODUCTION'' part. We did not make any changes to the song or added anything to it. Below is the email we received from the blogger team...
''Blogger has been notified, according to the terms of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), that certain content in your blog is alleged to infringe upon the copyrights of others. The only question I keep asking myself is; what difference does my post make from others? So after my search on google to see if any other website or blog got the same notification as I did, i came across a post published by www.nigeriafilms.com which was dated Tuesday 18th June, 2013 and it says Durella accused Dbanj of Jacking ''Blame It On The Money''. Then I realized probably, Durella made the copyright claims and reported to Google. But that does not answer my question as to why Loud Sound Ghana is the target. If Durella feels Dbanj stole his song, why wont he send Dbanj to court but rather attack a poor blogger like myself who is just trying to bring entertainment to the good and honest fans in Africa? No name was mentioned as to who is claiming rights for the said track... To be on the safer side, Loud Sound Ghana will not post any music from Dbanj until everything is cleared and sorted out properly. We will bring you developing stories as more come in...

New Remix: Olamide Ft DBanj ''First Of All'' (Remix)
This is a new remix by Olamide featuring The Koko Master; DBanj... The two artists made a remix of the famous ''First Of All'' song... I like the original and I guess the remix sounds a bit different and more hip.
Olamide is said to be one of Naija's Finest rappers and received great endorsements from top artists in and out of Nigeria including Dbanj himself... You need to listen and leave your comments... At the beginning, he said ''Challe'' and that is supposed to be a popular Ghanaian way of addressing a buddy... I guess Olamide got got some Ghanaian blood flowing through him!! Enjoy!!

Queen of Afrobeats, May7ven Playlisted on UK Mainstream Radio for The Second Time
Award-winning Nigerian singer, songwriter, dancer and entrepreneur May7ven is riding sky high yet again as her latest buzz single “Hey Mr” has just been playlisted by popular UK mainstream radio station Choice FM – making her the only female and one of the very few Afrobeats and African Music artists to be playlisted on national radio in the United Kingdom back-to-back for two consecutive single releases.
May7ven, the Afrobeats Queen continues to break boundaries in getting Afrobeats and African Music noticed by a wider mainstream audience and she also recently made history as her single “Hey Mr” was also one of the singles featured on the Afrobeats The Ultimate Collection compilation album which entered the Top 20 on the UK iTunes chart.
… And her efforts, music and performance prowess are certainly not going unnoticed with May7ven drawing accolades and plaudits from all corners of the African Music landscape, the latest of which comes from the Kokomaster himself, D’Banj, who in his first exclusive interview of 2013 with Beat FM’s Toolz on Ndani TV heaped praises upon praises on the female Afrobeats star, professing “She’s a Queen”!

The Kanye West Curse: D’banj fires manager!
According to hiphipworld magazine, Seun Bankuli is no longer D’Banj’s manager. The pair got into a heated argument when D’Banj found out Bankuli went to Paris after the Koko concert to work on Kanye West’s next album without him knowing. Bankuli left for Paris after the Koko concert in December and his employer/artiste wasn’t aware of his ‘clandestine’ trip to Paris to drop adlibs on Kanye’s next LP. Bankuli also hooked up with G.O.O.D Music producer Travis Scott who was signed to Kanye West’s imprint last November. When D’Banj found out, an argument ensued which resulted in both parties going their separate ways.
Bankuli is also a vocalist and sound creator apart from being an A&R, artiste manager and developer. His vocals can be heard on ‘Lift Off’ featuring Beyonce off the ‘Watch The Throne’ album, and he was credited for his vocal contribution on the track co-produced by Don Jazzy. He also got additional vocals credit on ‘Illest Mothafucka Alive’ featured on the same album.
Bankuli’s social media profiles- Twitter, Instagram and Facebook- no longer have any DB Records information. His avatar on Twitter now features a logo of Bankuli Entertainment, his newly floated entertainment outfit. Bankuli had been managing D’Banj since after the Mo’ Hits split.
