Renowned Ghanaian sound engineer and producer; Edward Nana Poku Osei, popularly known as "Hammer" of Last 2 entertainment is set to celebrate his success by staging a concert dubbed "Celebrating Hammer Concert" Also in anticipation is a theme song for the concert titled "Yeda W`ase" Being a major contributor to the music industry, especially hiplife, it is evident to all that he has been the brain behind most of the giants in the Ghana music industry.
Musicians such as Sarkodie, Kwaw Kesse, Edem, Tinny, Obrafour as well as other renowned musicians have all passed through the hands of Hammer and have received grave training and mentoring, which has made them what they are today, even though they still have some individuals flaws which make them weak in one way or the other.
In relation to the staging of the concert, Hammer has produced a theme song for the concert featuring the artist mentioned above. The song is titled "Y3 Da W'ase",literally meaning "We Thank You". The main idea is to thank God, the fans and anybody who has contributed to bringing them (The Last 2 family and artistes as individuals who have passed through Hammer's mentoring) this far.
The song is set to be released on August 2nd 2013. Looking well at how these musicians are faring in their various fields of music, bringing all of them on one song should be a blast that we should all be looking foward to. The thrills, excitements, lyrical content, punchlines, various languages spoken and different music styles, I do not think this song would be a house built of straw that can easily be washed away but rather a strong brick house that can withstand any condition no matter what. We cannot but look forward to August 2nd as we wait in anticipation for this banger about to hit and blow us of our feet.
