There are a lot of underground rappers lately and we can all agree these young rappers (Both male and female) are doing their very best to appear in the spotlight. Many of these rappers hardly get noticed because they probably dont have the right platform to display their talent. GYAMFI is one of these rappers, which we believe will make a head way in his career and make Ghana proud where ever he goes.
GYAMFI could not wait to complete his Senior High Education before he began making waves with a couple of singles he recorded. The rapper is one of the most popular rappers in Accra Academy Senior High School and this is due to his unique style and way of making music. Even though his management was not supporting the fact that he was combining music with education at the same time, they still thought they give him some chance to record a couple of tracks, but made sure he was always directed to his books and education.
No major shows and no major mixtapes or album because the management believes education is more important at this point. ''
He got music in his blood and that is something nobody can take away from him... but education must be acquired'' Says his manager (BraincKEnt)...
Finally, the rapper has successfully completed his Senior High Education and management says, they got a well planned schedule for GYAMFI and it will be in stages... The manager told us, its not about just recording a song and upload on hulkshare only to put out a one click download link. ''
I believe that is what is keeping most underground rappers where they are. Because they refuse to let the people know about them and read about them as well'' Says GYAMFI's manager... He also said its always hard bringing up an underground artist but they will just go according to plans and see what the future holds...
GYAMFI who was crowned as the best male rapper in this year's edition of the annual High School Honors, (HSH) on the other hand said he is doing his best to give the people what they want, and he is going to put in his best because music is part of him and not like a hobby... Its more like a passion that runs within him! He is currently putting out a mixtape compilation titled ''Apprentice'' which is said to be ready for free download by December this year. The rapper said he is ready to do more music, now that he is finally done with High School. ''
But my education does not end at High School... I have a much wider plan for my education and Im waiting to move unto the next stage of my education'' Says GYAMFI...
